Commercial Sales Representative for Hydroponic Growing Systems and Greenhouse Packages

Applicant should be

  • Highly motivated

  • Have excellent communication skills

  • Horticultural background

  • Passion for the greenhouse and hydroponic growing industry

  • At minimum a Bachelors degree in horticulture or 5+ years experience

It is important that this individual be comfortable in conversation as well as public speaking, with the ability to accurately discuss the benefits of CropKing’s hydroponic systems with interested individuals.   The majority of these discussions will take place via phone and require details about the equipment, the crops and the potential for income.   Customers also visit CropKing in Lodi, OH to tour the research greenhouse.  The position would be responsible for the tour and explaining the systems and the equipment.  

This position is primarily an inside sales position, but it does require occasional travel (average 3-5 days per month).  This travel time will include but is not limited to CropKing Workshops when they are held off site, trade shows, occasional site visits, and technical visits depending on candidates technical knowledge.  The ability to do some public speaking and present lectures at a CropKing Grower Training Class is a goal for this position.

CropKing’s goal is to disseminate high value information in order to facilitate the decision making process a new grower faces entering this industry.  Therefore it is important that this position be able to create relationships with customers and be very personable.  Follow-up and getting back to customers in a timely manner is essential.
